The Porthmons' Passage

The Porthmons' Passage

The welsh word 'Porthmon' (Drover in English) is used for those engaged in long distance trade – distances which could cover much of the length of Britain.

Duration: 1-2 Days    Distance: 82.4 mi    Elevation: 9,900 ft

Follow the tracks of these historic trade passages as you journey through the incredible landscapes of South Snowdonia way off the tourist trail.

This circular route begins in Trawsfynydd and predominantly rides paved back lanes with occasional stretches of smooth forestry gravel.

It can be ridden over two leisurely days or as a fast paced gravel ride in a day. Either way it is superb!
