We have been running adventure weekends from the Cross Foxes for nearly a year now and we've ticked off some epic mountains and seen incredible sights on bike and foot. The Cross Foxes Bunkhouse in Trawsfynydd provides an ideal basecamp for food and accomodation with hikers generally arriving Friday evening.

This time we take on Cnicht - 'The Welsh Matterhorn'. An 8 mile loop with an exciting ridge climb this classic Welsh trek takes you on a grand tour of the Croesor valley passing through quarries, lakes and stunning views.

Friday 25th of February - 

Generally folk arrive with us Friday evening, we like to kick off the weekend with an icy dip at a local swim spot. Join us from 6pm Friday evening for a moonlight swim. Hot flasks and cake included!

Saturday 26th of February - 

Vehicle transport leaves Trawfynydd at 9am Saturday and we start the mountain ascent at 10am from the parking in the village of Croesor. You can meet us there if not staying at the Inn. 

After the hike we head back to the Cross Foxes with the option of a wild swim enroute. It just so happens its the WALES vs ENGLAND Six Nations Kick off 16:45. We aim to be back for it!
